The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Savage can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Kenneth Savage
Condolence: What I remember mostly about my brother was his unwavering dedication and support for the African-American student body wherever he worked. And because of his dedication to his work, William increased the African-American student body on college campuses in large number not seen before he arrived. The University of Illinois, Illinois State University, and The University of Pittsburgh all own William a tremendous deth of graditude.
