Willa Mae Crittenden Williams was born on June 11, 1926 inPittsburgh PA. She was also known as Bill. He parents were thelate Foster Crittenden and Vanella Powers Crittenden.She resided in the West Mifflin and the Hazelwood areas andattended the Pittsburgh Public Schools.She was baptized at St. John The Evangelist Baptist Church. Sheworked in the maintenance department at US Steel until herretirement.Willa Mae married the late Jehu Williams.She was always there to lend a helping hand if you needed her.She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Janet Penn; 1 son, JehuWilliams; 1 grandson, Gyland Hood; 2 sisters, Lucille Crittenden andMattie Wood.Willa Mae departed this life on Saturday July 29, 2017 at theEldercrest Nursing Center in Munhall PA.She leaves to cherish their memories 1 son, Ronald C. Penn; 2daughters, Olive (Ollie) Bryant and Lucille Williams; 8 grandchildrenLoretta Darden, April Thorpe, Vance Penn, Jehu WilliamsStephanie Williams, Sidney Williams, Jonathan Williams, andVeronica Penn; a host of great grandchildren; great great"grandchildren; nieces; nephews, cousins, and friends.
