Rev. Trudy Louise Robinson was born on May 18, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Louise McDonald (Booth) and Issam Moore. She departed this life on November 1, 2017.Rev. Trudy received her formal education within the Pittsburgh Public School System, and was joined in holy matrimony with Rev. James Robinson on December 19, 1953. Out of this union they had four sons. She was a long-time employee at Magee Women´s Hospital, as a Medical Records Technician, and later provided loving care to children at a local daycare. Rev. Trudy was a very devoted woman of faith, accepting Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was an ordained minister of the gospel, receiving her license to preach from the Morning Star Baptist Church of Glenwood, PA and was the First Lady of Finleyville Baptist Church of South Hills, PA for over 15 years.Rev. Trudy´s life exemplified the love of Christ. Endeared as “Mom” or “Ms. Trudy” to many, she nurtured, encouraged and showed love to everyone that she met. She was known for her love of the Lord, genuine love for children, easy laugh and timeless class and grace. Rev. Trudy was preceded in death by her son, James N. Robinson III. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 63 years, Rev. James Robinson; four children: Michael Robinson (Robin), Rev. Timothy Robinson (Yvette), Adam Virgil Robinson and Isha Williams (Brian); 12 grandchildren: Melissa, Sean, Michael, Felisha, Brennan, Julia, Monique, Niko, Rashad, Joey, Clayton, Evan; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Rest with God Rev. Trudy. We shall see you again.
