Obituary for Ronnie Massengill

Ronnie Massengill was born June 30, 1952 to the late Aaron and Louise Massengill. He went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 8, 2013. At a young age, Ronnie accepted Christ. He was baptized and became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church on Pittsburgh’s North Side. He attended Sunday school and weekly service with his family.Ronnie was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system. He later completed his education while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Prior to joining the Army, Ronnie married Marie Williams in 1970. To this union one son, Ronnie A. Massengill, was born.After earning an honorable discharge from the Army, Ronnie held various jobs. Most recently, he was employed by UPMC Shadyside where he worked until becoming ill.Ronnie loved his family. His smile and humor touched many people. He will be truly missed.Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory: Son, Ronnie A. Massengill (Aisha); Grandchildren, Ronnice, Tracey, Jason, Justin and Jordan Massengill; Sisters, Joyce Williams (Kenneth), Jackie Albright Germany (Michael); Brothers, Harold, Larry and Darrell Massengill; two great grandchildren, Noriaya and Norman Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
