Obituary for Mary Frances S. Bell

Mary Frances Smith-Bell was born on March 27, 1930 to the late John Henry, Sr. and Carrie Davis Smith in Pittsburgh, PA.The family lived in the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. She was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System graduating from Fifth Avenue High School.Mary was a former employee of Mercy Hospital, Shadyside Hospital, and Allegheny County in the housekeeping department. She was also a foster grandparent.She was married to the late Howard Bell.Mary loved to travel, spending time with her family and was known for her fashion sense.She was also a former member of the Ladies Club and the Eastern Star.Mary was preceded in death by her son Robert Smith. On Friday December 11, 2015 God dispatched an angel to take her home to Him.She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Rosalie Smiley and Margaret Smith; grandchildren, Yulonda Smith, Kim Braxton, LaShon and Andre Moseley, Nyna and Jared Stokes, step daughters, Yvonne Grimmet and Diane Mitchell, and a hosts of other relatives and friends.
