Obituary for Marion Edwards

Marion Ozella Edwards (“MOE”) was born to Nathaniel and Bernetha “Bonnie” Edwards at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh PA on March 6, 1989. Moe will be remembered for her sweet disposition and her infectious smile. She was a lifelong member of the Homewood Church of Christ where she loved fellowshipping and attending worship services. She thrived in home-school and enjoyed learning. She had an appreciation for the arts and was keen on live theatre. She was the gracious hostess of the Annual Snowman’s Ball, the social event of the Season. Moe was also a staunch supporter of Pittsburgh Finest AAU Basketball team. She traveled frequently, enjoyed music and watching culinary shows on TV. Moe’s life was a gift to us all. Her courage led us to believe that each day was a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert Crutcher Jr of Beaver Falls PA and Nathanial and Marion Edwards of Nashville TN. On December 28, 2015 Moe went to sleep at home and woke up in Glory.Marion is survived by her parents, Nathaniel Edwards of Nashville TN, and Bonnie Edwards of Glenshaw, PA, her grandmother Carrie Ozella Crutcher of Bellevue PA, Uncles Robert (Renee) Crutcher, Kenneth Crutcher, Aunt Marilyn (Nolan) Johnson, Patricia Smith and Monica Edwards of Nashville TN, Barbara (Ronnie) Hendon of Montgomery AL , Teresa Edwards of Atlanta GA.
