Obituary for Laura E. Oneal

On March 30, 2017, Laura Ella Oneal entered into eternal peace at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Laura was born on September 9, 1924 to the late Mamie Awkard and Grant Wilmore. She was the third oldest of 18 children.Laura worked many jobs in her lifetime including Welder, O.R. Technician, School Crossing Guard and many others, but her focus was on raising her two sons, Derrick and Robert O’Neal, which she did lovingly and beautifully for 57 years.Her radiant smile and zest for life will always be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her, including all of her sisters, brothers, many nieces and nephews and friends.She leaves behind her sisters: Peggy DeHonuey, Joan White, Barbara Ann McClendon and Sheryl Sturdivant. Brothers: Grant (Brother) Wilmore and Raymond Wilmore. Also many nieces and nephews and her two heartbroken sons Derrick and Robert.Her 92 years on this earth enriched many lives and made this world a better place.
