Condolence: We will always love and miss you. And selfishly I want you here with us now. But I don't want you to suffer anymore. My promise to you is that I will raise Ahmir to be a good hearted, loving, intelligent God fearing man. With strength and faith we will always celebrate your life and the legacy you left behind. Condolence: Marcus was my roommate freshman year at Lincoln University and my friend for my entire stay. I learned the game of chess from him,we shared a love for hip hop together (Nas),and to this day I still use some of the slang that he would use. Actually recently I've been using that slang alot more and reminiscing about those good times that we had on campus. My heart dropped when my college sweetheart (met through Marcus) gave me the call to tell me the bad news. Though we didn't speak as much as we used to we still reached out from time to time on social media and I never stopped considering him one of my true friends. My condolences go out to his family may God give you strength to deal with... Condolence: My dear MarcusI cried continuously after I got the news . I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that I will not see you again or talk to you again. In the middle of my sorrow I remembered that those whom the gods love die young, God loves you more than any of us ever did. He called you home to be in his bosom, where there is no pain or suffering. You will have the love and peace you so badly needed and wanted. My consolation is that I will no longer have to worry about you any more because you with the Almighty God and he has taken you away from life's struggles and given you peace at last... Condolence: Marcus was as much as brother to me as the three I lived with growing up. I've racked my brain for a single memories and cannot seem to find one. I remember countless days of exploring the woods behind his garage, summer nights at Calvary and school bus rides to and from Carlow. My deepest condolences go out to Uncle Allan, Damien, Camryn, Amir and the rest of the Hodges and Critchlow families. Continue reading
