Lovingly known as "Jorgy" was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA on May 15, 1991 to Stacey D. Armstrong of New Rochelle NY and the late Jason Christopher Coles of Pittsburgh PA.

Jordan began his education at Imani Christian Academy and graduated from Pittsburgh Public Schools - Peabody High School. While his spiritual views evolved over the years, he always leaned on Psalm 23: 4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" (KJV).

Jordan always took great pride in his appearance no matter the occasion. This was his way of stamping his name on this earth. He would always say "on May 15th, a star was born" and a star he was. Recently Jordan began to market and distribute a line of men's glasses and was designing a branded clothing line.
He had qualities like no other. A smile just like his father that would light up a night sky, a heart as big as your eyes could see, and a personality that was complex enough to keep you wondering for all your years. Jordan was well loved by each and every person who knew him. He truly enjoyed the authenticity and simplicity in people. It wasnt about how much you told Jordan you loved him, it was how much you showed him. It's as if he had a superpower of knowing the difference between real and fake love.
What mattered the most to Jordan was spending time with his children, siblings, mother and those close to him. Second to his love for the people around him, Jordan loved his cars and shoes. Although he never had a strong desire to play sports, basketball was his favorite. Ever since childhood he had a fascination with cars. It started with going to car shows with his mother and graduated to maintaining a small collection of model cars, which then led him to attend a vocational automotive school.

In addition to his mother Jordan leaves to cherish his memory children; Jordan Coles Jr., Kuron Coles, Jae'dyn Coles & Jae'la Coles, sisters; Tasia Black, Mishaya Black, Shadaya Coles, Elayna Coles & Chrishawna Coles, devoted brothers; Travon Smtih & Robert Smiley, bonus mother Shayla Jones, uncles; Keith B. Armstrong of New Rochelle NY & William M. Coles, grandmother Elaine M. Coles and will be deeply missed by a host of a cousins, great aunts/uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and extremely close friends.

There are no flowers, photos or poems that can take the place of a lost son, brother, father and friend. Jordan, we watched you grown from a toddler running up and down the steps to a handsome young man with an infectious smile. We will miss you forever soldier, although we know you are now at peace.
