Obituary for John F. Freeman Mr

John Fredrick Freeman, Sr., went home to be with his Savior, on December 5th, 2012. John was a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he lived until the age of 19; he then relocated to Pittsburgh, PA. John later came to reside in Aliquippa, PA, and worked in the J & L Steel Mill until 1982; he was also a former employee of Pittsburgh International Airport. John was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, located on Wykes St. Aliquippa, PA, Rev. Alec Piper, Pastor.John is survived in death by his loving wife, Alice Freeman, and his 3 children from a previous marriage to Carol Penny Freeman; daughters, Rebecca Freeman, Aliquippa, and Rachel Freeman, North Carolina, and son Daniel Freeman, Southern Califonia. John was preceded in death by his eldest son, John F. Freeman, Jr. (Jay-Jay), of Atlanta, GA. John was also step-father to Darla Glenn, Maryland, and Raven Glenn II, Aliquippa; and grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Chancelor Humphrey, Rachel Freeman, B.J. Thaxton-Ross, Madison Freeman, Modesty Glenn, and Maurice Glenn. He was father-in-law to Stephanie Freeman, Atlanta, GA., and former daughter-in-law, Bethan Harris Freeman. John also leaves to grieve a host of caring extended family and friends; Dorothy and Willie Anderson, sister and brother-in-law; Elizabeth Jordan, prayer partner, and many thoughtful cousins, nieces, and nephews, who affectionately called him "Uncle Johnny
