"My Story" (about Jazy B. Custis)

JAZMERE BRIANNA CUSTIS aka JAZY B On June 22, 2018, our world lost its sunshine! Jazmere (Jaz) Brianna Custis was viciously taken from us at the tender age of 19; she fell victim to an act of senseless gun violence. Even though her life was just beginning, Jazmere filled those 19 years immensely. An A student, she participated in Gymnastics, Softball, Cheerleading, Marching Band/Color Guard (Captain), Drama Club, Musicals, Cosmetology in Vo-Tech, French Club, Spanish, Bowling, was in Honors classes and a National Honor Society candidate. Outside of school, Jaz participated in Andromeda Winter Guard, Market Street Muppets, the Kids Can Cook television show and briefly played the violin, the flute and sang in the choir. After graduating from Steel Valley High School, Class of 2017, she began her college career at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (I.U.P) majoring in Clinical and Child Psychology. While attending college she worked a few part time jobs but found great pleasure in person to person sales for the CutCo Company. She was eager to start her Sophomore year of college in her new apartment with her new Samoyed puppy. Jazy was fun-loving, brilliant, out-going and would help anyone in need. Her bright and beautiful smile, adorable laugh, infectious spirit and personality brought joy to so many. She easily spread her love across several states in such a short amount of time. We LOVE and MISS you Jazmere !!!! A few of the 100 THINGS I LOVE by Jazmere: Wolves, Samoyed dogs, Red and Black, Music, Nature, Achieved Goals, Car Rides with Mom, Animals, Natural Things, Morals, My Hair, Helping People, Dreaming about the Future, Being Happy, Making sure everyone is OK, Dancing, Clothes, Shoes, Tattoos, Jewelry, Hugs, Dead Pool, Cute Outfits, Hoodies, Dressing Up, Positivity, Walks, Determination, The Mind, Accomplishments and Being Productive.
