Obituary for Florence E. Moye-Crawley

Florence aka “Cookie” was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Delores Trent and Lonnie Jackson on July 17, 1961. She is the loving sister of Lovella, Vivian, Donna (deceased), Noel, Charles, Janine and Lana. She spent her young days in the Hill District where she attended Fifth Avenue High School and Brashear.Cookie was a loving and funny person who loved to hang out with her sisters any chance she got. She loved going to church, shopping with Noel or playing cards with Aunt Flo or anyone who would take the time. She also loved playing with grandchildren.Our family became close over the last few years and Cookie was a big part in that she encouraged us to pray and made us laugh through anything. No matter how serious the situation really was.Cookie, in case you didn’t know, had a beautiful voice and could sing any song you asked regardless of how high or low.Along with her siblings, she is survived by her loving husband Tilmon Moye, Jr., her mother Delores Tucker, her sons Michael and Eddie, her daughters Charla, Michelle (Cortez), Kayla and Jena, her grandchildren: Alana, Raelyn, Arnez, Terrence, Mia, Sasha and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
