Obituary for Deaconess Larue Hutcherson

LaRue entered into God’s world December 13, 1930 and walked with Him home on July 05, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Douglas and Margaret Nabors and was born in North Vandergrift, PA.Hubert and LaRue were united in marriage December 04, 1948 and enjoyed 68 years of love and devotion. From their union they had eight lovely children. Rev Hubert D. Hutcherson, Vandergrift, Cheryl (Matt) Copcutt, Beaver, the late Shelia (Billy) Pretlor, Yvette (Ralph) Johnson, Arnold, Venena (Alicia) Hutcherson, Plum, Felecia (Frank) Burke, Vandergrift, and the late Wayne and Gregory Hutcherson.LaRue was a former member of the First Baptist Church of North Vandergrift (now New Life Baptist Church) where she served as president of the Missionary, president of the Senior Choir, Usher, Sunday School Teacher, and Pastor’s Aide Committee. She united with the Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church in June 2011 and was a member of the Missionary Society.She worked for the Kiski Area School District as a Domestic Engineer. In 1975 she was employed by Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation as an Office Supervisor for the Customer Department, retiring after 20 years of service.LaRue leaves to celebrate her life: Her children, grand children and great grand children, one brother, Anthony (Barbara) Nabors of Florida, Theodore (Debbie) Wallace of Seattle Washington. Waiting for her arrival at the Jordan Shore – her parents, two brothers Fred and Stanley Nabors, four sisters, Ethel Kennedy, Patricia Ford, Shirley and Sharon Nabors and a host of relatives and friends.
