Age 82 of East Liberty. Peacefully on Saturday March 16, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Green. Father of William, Jr. (Patricia), Bobbi J. Brookins, Nancy J. Hill (Sidney) and Kenneth L. Green (Cheryl). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Dr. Green was former Assistant Superintendent for the Pittsburgh Public Schools and Ethnic Minority Director for the United Methodist Church Western Pennsylvania Conference. Dr. Green was a charter member of the Emanon Club and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
