Obituary for Walter Lewis Bullock III

Walter Lewis Bullock, III was born on October 6, 1948 to the late Walter and Ida (Burrell) Bullock in Princeton, NJ. He departed this life on August 14, 2021 at the age of 72 in Wexford, PA.

After graduating from Trenton High School in Trenton, NJ, Walter worked for FMC in Princeton, NJ and enlisted in the Army National Guard. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Chemistry. He later earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program. His career with FMC flourished for more than 30 years. He established himself as a marketing executive in the chemical industry, also working for Bayer Corporation, Cytec Industries, Velsicol Chemical Corporation, and PTC Alliance until his retirement. In his retirement, he volunteered at UPMC Passavant.

Walter wed the former Valerie Ann Pinkney, his wife of 44 years, on August 6, 1977 in Leland, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Lewis Bullock, Jr.; his mother, Ida (Burrell) Bullock; his sister, Linda Bullock; and his in-laws, James and Jacquelyn Trimm.

Walter is survived by his wife, Valerie; his children: Staci of Atlanta, GA, Erika of Madison, WI, and Marcus (Nichole) of Voorhees, NJ; his grandchildren: Shayna McClure, Latrell Bullock, Jayla Bullock, and Malachi Bullock; brother-in-law Sherman (Octavia) Trimm; nephew Robert Saunders; niece Lauren Trimm; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
