Obituary for Teresa Ann Rogers Bagwell

Teresa Ann Rogers Bagwell was born on August 30, 1957, in Jackson, TN to Christine Mitchell and the late Willie Rogers. Teresa was one of seven children and the second oldest daughter. Her siblings included: Shirley Mitchell, Ricky Rogers, Ronald Rogers, Lisa Rogers, Randy Massey, and Christina Massey.
Teresa was raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from Sto-Rox High School. She was a good student and loved to dress the part even in high school.
Teresa worked for over 40 years as a nursing assistant. She cared for many patients over the years and loved what she did. She had a very nurturing spirit, and it came through when she provided care to her patients. There was nothing she would not do to make them happy and comfortable.
Teresa was a devoted community activist that worked hard to register people to vote and to get them to the polls. She was passionate about helping to make the community in which she lived a better place for all.
She had a special love for her family and shopping. She often gifted her family and friends with many of her buys. Teresa considered herself to be the number one fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. You would find her on every game day cheering them on.
Teresa knew the Lord and was a faithful member of Kingdom Life Fellowship Church in Pittsburgh, PA.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved mother Christine Mitchell Massey, her siblings, Lisa, Randy, and Christina, her two sons, Christopher and Lawrence, a daughter-in-law, Tennille, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her best friend Cynthia Bonner, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
