Sherra Loren Burley was born on December 20, 1981.  She passed away
unexpectedly on May 1, 2023, at the age of 41.  Her family is deeply
saddened by her sudden death. 
 
Sherra, affectionately known as “Sher Bear” graduated from Schenley
High School in 1999. She also served in the Army Reserves and the
United States Air Force. Sherra was known for being a hard worker.
She held various jobs as a CNA, Pharmacy Tech at CVS, Valet Parking at
UPMC, Warehouse Worker at Amazon and her last job was with
American Textile Company in Duquesne.

Sherra is survived by her mother Victoria Burley, son DaShawn Burley,
sister Shawna Taylor and brother Dereck Taylor; as well as her nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Sherra was preceded in death by her father David Burley, paternal
grandparents Charles “Charley” and Julia Burley and maternal
grandparents, George and Hazel Taylor, uncles Charles Burley, Jr., and
George Taylor, Jr. 

Sherra loved to travel and was a fun spirited person that loved to be
around family and friends.  Sherra will be missed and remembered by
the many lives she touched.
