Obituary for Regina Irene Johnson
On April 29, 2019, Regina Irene Johnson at the age of 58, entered eternal peace, at the Forbes Center Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Regina was born to George Harrison and Barbara Mae Johnson-Pinkney on December 24, 1960. She was raised by Vincent Pinkney who she called her father.
Regina attended both Brashear and Fifth Avenue High School. She was brought up down Fifth Avenue in the Pittsburgh Hill district. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Pork Chop from her 58 years of living.
Regina will be remembered for her out spoken personality and giving heart. Regina was the life of any family gathering or party. She will also, be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She will be truly be missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories, her loving partner Norman Artemus Sr; her four siblings, Delores Christian, Edmond Johnson, Felicia Johnson, and Vincent Pinkney; her sister in law Donyale Pinkney; her four children Jerry Johnson, Sequaya Johnson, Leona Pettegrew, and Norman Artemus Jr. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren Imani Johnson, Jaekwon Johnson, Aujahnae Turner, Hirondi Simmons, Anajah Gavins, Charles Buchanan IV, Chaquayla Buchanan, Marquayla Buchanan, Marquay Buchanan, and Kenneth Croom III; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends.
