Maveen Armstrong passed away July 9 th , 2023 at West
Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
With her sister Shirley by her side, our beloved Maveen,
better known as Veenie, went to be with her Lord and
Savior. She was and will always be our baby sister.
Maveen was born December 18, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
and passed away July 9, 2023 at the age of 81.
She was a single Mother and raised a daughter Evonne
Marie, who passed away early in life.
Maveen had an amazing career working at Blue Cross
and UPMC in Pittsburgh.
Veenie will always be remembered as having a tough
veneer exterior and a heart of gold.
Veenie leaves behind to mourn her passing, sisters
Shirley Coles, Tippy Bahleda and brother Mickey Jones.
And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
