Obituary for Louise Booker

Louise Booker (MiMi) 92 of Hyattsville, Maryland passed September 14, 2020 at Doctors Community Hospital, New Carrolton, Maryland. Cause of death was Sepsis & Pneumonia. She was Gods child…& held strongly to her faith throughout her life.
LIFE
Louise was born 31 Dec 1927 in Brownstown, Pennsylvania to John David Jones & Julia Etta Craig
She had 3 Siblings: sisters Lillie Belle Bray (Caldwell) & Jeninita LeGrant Jones (Woody)& brother Lawrence Burl Adams.
She spent her young life in Truxall, Pa & entered the domestic work force. Later in life she moved to Penn Hills, Pa. where she got a maintenance position at Three Rivers Stadium. She & her husband Thomas Lee Booker (Married July 12, 1947) had 4 children: Toni, Zachary, Marvin & Tracy. Her family was all-important to her but she did manage to develop a long & lasting enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers & the Pittsburgh Pirates. She proudly sported the Steelers Gold & Black even after she moved to Hyattsville, Md. High on the list of some of her favorite things was fishing, crocheting, bingo & on her bucket list was a lifetime dream to go to Hawaii which she did with her two youngest children & their spouses. Her other all-time favorite thing to do was dining out at any restaurant that had meat!
Louise developed many lifelong friendships & maintained contact with them throughout her life.
She was a member of the Floral Guild at New Light Temple Baptist Church

Louise is survived by her 4 children, Toni Lee Jackson (Frederick), Zachary Thomas Booker, Marvin John Booker (Cwana), Tracy Ann Trammell (Jerryl)
10 grand Children, 18 Great-Grand Children, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren:

Louise was predeceased by her Parents & her husband Thomas L Booker (Jun 2000), brother Lawrence Burl Adams (May 1989), sister Jeninita LeGrant (Mar 1990)& sister Lillie Belle (Apr 2003).
