The Beloved John D. Nelson also known by Binky, the middle child of three, born to the late John Nelson and Marva (Edmonds) Nelson.He departed this life peacefully on January 26, 2013 to rest in his heavenly home. He was raised in the Garfield section of Pittsburgh. He attended the Pittsburgh Public Schools and graduated from Peabody High School. He served in the United States Army which he received an Honorable Discharge.John was a passionate man who worked for Pitt Dental School for many years. His hobbies were repairing cars and he loved spending time with family and friends.John was married to Dorothea (Green) Nelson.He leaves to mourn one sister Yvonne Nelson, Three brothers Duane Nelson, Marlin and Michael Townes. Sister-in-law Ojetta. Two daughters Fredericka Morgan, Clara White. Two grandsons Darryl, Jr. and DeAndre, one great grandson DeAndre, Jr. God sister Mary Baily, John Hardy, companion Regina Griffin. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
