Obituary for Janice Brown
Janice Brown, Age 76 of Pittsburgh, PA. Peacefully on Thursday, January 16th, 2020.
Janice was born on August 15, 1943 in Pittsburgh PA, to Lucille and Henry Brown. She was the third youngest of six children. Janice grew up in the East Liberty area and attended Lemington and Westinghouse Schools. Her family and friends always called her a??Jennya??. Jenny developed a fondness and love for two things, animals and cooking. She excelled at both. She was a cook (the best) by trade and handled animals like a veterinarian. Her special love was cats. She had two cats of her own and if she saw an abandoned or sick cat, she would take them home, nurse them back to health and find them a good home. Jenny was the best cook I knew and would handle all the family gatherings, with her food and rolls that melted in your mouth. She was a gifted person, well loved by family and friends and everyone who came in contact with her.
Jenny is survived by her siblings Jean M. Cubbage (Samuel J. Cubbage Sr.), Richard Brown (Betty Brown) and Denise K. Hall; Nieces; Veronica S. Brown, Cheryl Brown, and Trina Smith; Nephews, Samuel J. Cubbage II (Bobbie), Richard Brown, and Robert Brown. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.
