Obituary for Georgia Marie Duse
Georgia Marie Duse’(Barnett) 75 at the age of death lived in Verona, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023.
Georgia was born on April 16, 1947, in Heidelberg, MS to late Guy and Mattie Lee Barnett (Taylor).
Georgia graduated from South Side High School on May 19, 1965, in Heidelberg, MS. In 1966 Georgia moved to Pittsburgh, where she met and married her husband the late John Duse’. Georgia beloved mother and sister worked many years for Westinghouse in Ohara Township as a cable inspector. She loved crossword puzzles, cooking, making banana pudding, sweet potato and apple pies. Georgia was very caring and loving and loved spending time with family, friends and always thinking of others. “To know her is to love her”.
Georgia leaves behind 2 daughters Fonda Shante’ Duse’ and Ricky Lynn Duse’ and 1 granddaughter her pride and joy Taelor Marie Fowler. She has 6 sisters Samantha Smith Clemmons, NC, Myra Petty Monroeville, PA, Gory Morgan, Gulf port MS, Saphronia Stenson (Troy), Nobie Stitts, Heidelberg MS and the late Maggie Okema Jenkins, Las Cruces New Mexico. She leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews, several great and great- great nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
