To my dear father, I truly love you and I enjoyed our talks. We used to talk about everything and I used to tease you about watching CNN all the time lol. Losing you has been something that has really taken a toll on me. I'm trying my best to be strong for the rest of my family but my heart is in pieces. I'm gonna miss you...you're truly one of a kind.

Worked with Mr. Ware, whom was a great inspiration to the juveniles brought there. He treated the kids as tho they were his own. Shuman Center colleagues loved him.

My childhood memories of you Cuzin Eddie; when Meal and I came to visit the family, me being a little girl/ between was special. You were my "Cuz crush", I was always mesmerized by your "pretty eyes ", your bright smile and the funny way you said my name (so southern to me) or you telling me don't be afraid of y'all Big dog and making sure he was in kitchen with Sarah (ur Mom) before I came downstairs. And you playing "love" songs in the living room when you was "soooooo in love" with your girl at time (lol)...
I will miss you! In my heart always,
RIP Cuz,

Our childhood can only be described as ideal. Lowell Street was a perfect place to grow up. Eddie was the charmer of the neighborhood. Needless to say we will miss you. Thank you for the many years of friendship. Rest now Dear Eddie. Pat and Donna Hefflin
