Alma Jean Davis Pope, age 78, passed away on August 23, 2016, after a battle with abdominal cancer. She was born on January 30, 1938 to Margaret and William Davis. She was a loving wife, of 53 years, to the late Nathaniel Pope of Pittsburgh, PA and they had one daughter, Natalie, and later three granddaughters, NaTosha, NaKeyla and NaRaya.At the age of 30, Alma joined the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served 48 years as a devoted worshiper. Along with her love for Jehovah; Alma was very family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.She was preceded in death by husband, Nathaniel Pope; sister Rosa Johnson; 2 brothers Willie Davis (Evelyn) and Robert Davis; and 2 nephews Butchie Davis and Michael Davis. She leaves to cherish a loving daughter Natalie and three granddaughters, NaTosha, NaKeyla, and NaRaya, of Pittsburgh, PA. One brother-in-law James Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA and one sister-in-law Loretta Davis; along with a host of loving (Davis and Pope) nieces and nephews whom she was very proud of.
