Obituary for Allen Davis Greene

Allen Davis Greene was born December 25, 1949, to the proud parents of the late Severa and Dorothy
Greene. Allen was one of ten siblings, six brothers and three sisters. Two sisters and six brothers
preceded Allen in death. Brothers Norman, William, Donald, Richard, Tommie and David. Sisters Diane
and Darlene. Allen departed this life January 25, 2022. Allen attended Washington Grade School of Penn
Hills, Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn Hills Senior High School. After graduating, enlisted in the
Airforce after honorable discharge attended Tech School for Professional Custodian. Worked for UPMC
Western Psych and West Penn Hospital and retired due to health issues. Allen had faith in Christ a
member of Betel AME Church of the Hill District and put up a graceful fight to this unexpected disease.
He enjoyed playing pool, watching his Steelers football, and all sports. He also loved to barbecue,
cooking pork chops, chicken and ribs. Allen was basically a quiet soul living a quiet life mostly kept to
himself. Doing the right things and giving good advice with his wisdom. Loved his children, stepchildren
and family. Allen leaves to cherish his memories his beloved and loyal wife Tina; his children, daughter
Vivian and her three children; son, Allen Jr. (Tara) wife, and their three children also a daughter from a
previous relationship; son Justin; three stepdaughters; one preceded in death (Susan), surviving
stepchildren Sabrina, Jr and Phil. Seven Grand daughters and seven Grandsons, five great grandchildren.
Host of nieces and nephews. Great nieces and great nephews, cousins, great cousins and a host of
friends. Sister in laws Redena (Lamont) Crokett. Theresa & Debra Hobdy Former son in law, Bishop David
I. Queen, Sr. Beloved sister Dolores (Calvin) Buntin. Allen will truly be missed by all who knew him,
having a great sense of humor and smile with those big brown eyes.
