Roland J. Coston-Criswell presently serves as the President of the Samuel E. Coston Funeral Home, Inc. He is a licensed Funeral Director and manages all day-to-day operations along with directing funerals and handling at-need and pre-need arrangements.

Mr. Criswell is the grandson of Samuel and Wanda Coston, the original owners of the funeral business, which was established in 1963. His mission as a Funeral Director is to provide ministry to the bereaved, support the community and to provide service with integrity.

Mr. Criswell is a 1999 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with a Diploma in Embalming and Funeral Directing. He also attended Morgan State University and the University of Pittsburgh and is a 1995 graduate of Shady Side Academy.

From 2000-2004, Roland was a member of the Executive Committee of the NAACP. He also served as the chairman
